Privacy policies are often very long winded and lawyer talk no one has time to read, so I’ll keep this as short and easy to understand as I can.

Your personal/private information will never be shared or sold to anyone, ever. I do not do any form of targeted advertising on my website. Your information will never be collected, shared, or sold for the purpose of advertising. I will never sell this website so your information will never be transferred to another owner either one day down the road. If one day I ever decide to discontinue my website, all of your data will be deleted with it.
I do use third party software in order to provide various functionality and features to this website. Their privacy policies are their own and out of my control, however, I always choose not to share analytics or other information from this website when requested by third parties, so any data collected from third parties, if any, should be minimal.

I take reasonable measures to safeguard your data with SSL and website security software. However, no website is 100% safe from malicious activity so by joining this website, you acknowledge and accept this is a low but potential risk. I will always do my best to protect this website and your data to the best of my ability, but should an attack ever happen and information gets leaked, I will not be held responsible, legally or otherwise, for it or any damages that may occur as a result. I will, however, notify users if such an event ever happens so that users can secure their accounts and change their login information if necessary. I will also take any necessary steps I am able to ensure such an event does not repeat.

While this is a somewhat private community for the small web, the majority of this website, including the community, is publicly viewable for the purpose of promoting the use of RSS feeds. This makes it easier for our webring and community members to more easily follow each other. While you do have privacy controls within your account as to information you’d like made public or kept private, please keep in mind the majority of the site, including posts, are publicly viewable as well as RSS feed compatible. Avoid sharing any personal/sensitive data. Pseudonyms and anonymity is always encouraged.

Lastly, your email may be used in regards to contact you about your account or important changes to this website. I’ll never spam you or send you ads so if you get an email from me it’s probably important.
