Synopsis
They’re falling in love, yet they’ve never met. Maybe fate can intervene in a heartwarming “what-if” short story about new beginnings by the New York Times bestselling author of Yours Truly.
Holly is dealing with the impending death of her grandmother and still reeling from a bad breakup. One bright spot: a Valentine’s Day card on Holly’s windshield—even if it wasn’t meant for her. An amusing mistake soon turns into a lovely exchange of anonymous notes, little acts of kindness, and a growing affection between two strangers. What happens when one of them has to say goodbye?
My Review
This book was short but a really cute read! Highly recommend for those looking to finish up their reading goals for the year.
Holly is a hospice nurse caring for her grandmother, when she comes across an accidental note on her car that was meant for someone else. The man leaves another note apologizing for his embarrassing blunder, which then leads to a continuous exchange of notes between the two.

This book is a mixture of humor and heart felt moments. It’s a great book if you’re looking to pass the time for an hour or two. A quick sweet read, one that left a smile on my face and I thoroughly enjoyed, though, didn’t leave a deep impact on me to be a story I’d care to reread. I’d definitely still recommend it for those who enjoy quick, light romance reads!
